Gurgu Volcano

The gurgu volcano is the home of Kary, the fire fiend. There are 5 floors to this, with floors 3 and 4 split into 2 seperate sections. The first part will take you through the fastest way possible, and the second part will inform you on the loot. As always, enemies are present, so watch your backside.

Floor 1 - When you first enter the volcano, go up. Follow the right hand wall until you get to a dead end. Begin walking along the lava, hugging the wall as you go. Get off of the lava as soon as you can to minimize damage taken. You should see a staircase to floor 2 nearby. Floor 2 - Unless you want the treasure, go to the left and don't turn back. Lava is everywhere, so watch it. Floor 3A - As long as you begin heading to the right on this floor, you'll be OK. Floor 4A - Now you're in trouble. There are a few safe spots that have no lava, so exploit them. Head down and to the right. When you get to the safe spot, walk counter clockwise until you get to the lower right corner. Bolt down and right until you get to the next safe spot and repeat the process. Head straight right when going off of the lower right corner and you shouldn't have too many problems. The only problem is having to go back upstairs! Floor 3B - OK, you need to head down 1 room, then left 1 room. Then go down another room and head straight left. Floor 4B - Head left right away. Then you need to go down when you have to. Continue going down through the intersection. Head right at the corner and then go down at the next intersection. Follow the path all the way to the staircase. Floor 5 - This is simple. Head down and left. You have to go through 2 fields of lava and that's it. Prepare to have your showdown with Kary.

You want loot, we got loot. There are a few floors with nothing on it, but the other floors make up for it.

Floor 1: Sorry, no treasure here.

Floor 2: Let the treasure hunting begin. There are 18 treasure chests here, and most of them are guarded. There are two treasure chests near the top that have a total of 1545 gold in them. To the right and down from that, you can find the giant sword. To the right of that you can find 4150 gold pieces. Down and left from there is a silver helmet. Down from there is another chest with 1520 gold in it. Then there is the room off to the left. Time to reap treasure galore! There is 2 silver helmets, a silver shield, 2 heal potions, a pure potion, a cabin, a silver axe,and a total of 6710 gold pieces.

Floor 3A: Sorry, no treasure here.

Floor 3B: Sorry, no treasure here.

Floor 4A: Sorry, no treasure here.

Floor 4B: There's a lot of treasure around here, too. The room next to the staircase has 2750 gold and a soft potion. The room left of that has 1760 gold. To the left of that is the ice sword and flame shield as well as 8220 gold and a pure potion. There is another room that is at a crossroads. That room has 165 gold in it. To the right of that room, you will find 2000 gold, a house, and an empty chest. Right before you go to the final floor, there is a room that has 1250 gold and a wooden staff.

Floor 5: There are 4 chests on this floor, but only 1 is worth it. If you go straight left from entering the floor, you will find a room with the flame armor. The other 3 chests are empty.
